some people deserve many second chances. If it is somone you love, you should constantly give chances, that's what love is about.

Having said that though, it really all depends on the person. I wouldn't give a stranger, or someone I wasn't in love with more than maybe 1 second chance.

I'm not sure there is a set number. And it definitely depends on the act the person is being given the second chance on. Like, if its cheating, only one chance after the mistake to change, but if it's something littler, like forgetting to take the trash out, than probably many more chances!!

No way to answer that. Just depends on the person and what the second chance is.

Depending on the relationship & situation, the '3 strikes' rule usually seems fair. If it's really major, 1 second change, but for trivial things I guess there could be several 'second' chances.

Depends on what they did! I am forgiving because no one is perfect. But if someone keeps doing something over and over again then that tells me they don't care and with that it's time to say no more. People mess up and it's human nature but sometimes people do things that are mean and hurtful, you have to decide if it was a honest mistake or if your dealing with a really stupid person that doesn't deserve your friendship!

That depends on how many options the one giving the chances has. Someone with options and self esteem usually won't give more than one- and sometimes, not even one.
