My 2 year old nephew doing little things means the most to me like when he:
...comes in my room in the morning and says "geeet up nanny, geeet up"
...when he hurts himself or falls down he'll cry and go "it hurt. kiss it" then I kiss it and he says "better" and it is. (I wish my problems could be fixed that way).
...when he kicks like me and says "kiyah!"
And my favorite is the "lobe ou nanny"

Walk arm in arm with a friend.
have a night of discussion, (whatever subject) in my studio.
Sit on my swing with a person who brings me happiness.
Read aloud, and have read aloud in return, poetry.
Dress up occasionally as a young woman at the begining of the 20th century.
Dance to Elizabethan Music.
Make dinner, by candle light for a party of four.
Speak from the hear with someone I trust and like and have them return as much. Etc.

Spending time with my family. Drinking forties in the middle of the night with my friend and roommie, and dancing through the streets with her. Sitting on the beach watching the sunset. It's amazing having a strong connection with another person or with nature. There's nothing else like it.

my iPod is a small thing and it means the world to me. My life is basically based on music because I f I have a problem I think of a song that is powerful and a conquering song so I think of that song when I am trying to accomplish something.

When my daughter brings home a great report card in the subject she has been struggling with. When she tells me "I love you" when she leaves to go with a friend somewhere. When my husband calls in the middle of the day, not needing anything but just to say "Hi, I love you".

My little stuffed animals - because they were given to me by ones that I love. When I'm feeling lonely, I feel a little comfort having a part of them being with me.

My rescued Orange Winged Amazon parrot named "Lucky", whose whole existence in life is waiting for me to come home from work to see him. That is my joy.
