It's Chad Johnson, and here's why:
1. He's got the stats. Since 2001, he has never had less than 1100 yards in a season, and no less than 1250 since 2002. He has had 90 receptions in a season three times.
2. He's got the quarterback. Carson Palmer is one of the top quarterbacks in the league and will be on the very top in a couple of years.
3. He has the tools. He runs a 4.4 40. He can beat a horse in a race. He is competitive, has excellent hands, and knows the game well.
You could argue that Steve Smith is the best. He might have been a couple years ago, but if you take a look at who his QB is this year.....
Chad Johnson is the best WR in the NFL today. And even though we shouldn't we all love his TD celebrations, right?

Randy Moss. Why? Because he is. He's so big, strong, and fast no one can stop him. Even if the ball is thrown to a defender, he can catch the ball anyway. No one knows why, it just is.
Chad Johnson is pretty good, just not as good as Randy Moss. I guess NiftySportsGuy didn't see the game last week between the New England Patriots (Randy Moss' team) and the Cincinnatti Bengals (Chad Johnson's team). Randy Moss had 9 receptions, 102 yards, 2 touchdowns. Chad Johnson had 3 receptions, 53 yards, no touchdowns. If Chad Johnson played for New England, he'd be a back up.
Someone else mentioned Donald Driver. Randy Moss has 100 yards receiving, and at least 1 touchdown every game. Donald Driver has 1 100 yard game and 2 touchdowns in 4 games. It's not close.

Donald Driver. No one has done more over the last few years with less around him. Of course he had Brett Favre throwing to him. But without a consistent running game and defenses doubling him constently. He had no other receiver to take the pressure off of him. He gains ridiculous yards after the catch. He's not the fastest. He's not the flashiest or the loudest. He is just the most productive the steadiest.
Honorary mention goes to Randy Moss. The reason why he isn't the best is because he only plays when he wants to. I feel sorry for the way he treated the Raiders. He didn't produce over the last few years as Driver did.

I got to go with Marvin Harrison on this one. Beating Chad J. only by a hair.
Why, his team won the super bowl. He scored 12 TD's to Chads 7. He had 6 100 yard games to Chads 4. He had 95 receptions to Chads 87.
Tory Holt would be 3rd....93 REC....10 TD's...(lousy team)
T.O. would be 4th....78 REC....12 TD's....he is still a jerk
Randy Moss is a good receiver, but as far as stats go he (last year) is not even close. 42 REC... 3 TD's... not even in the top 20.

Randy Moss for three reasons: 1. His superior talent. 2. He plays with a great offensive team. 3. He loves his team and they obviously love him back.

Today Randy moss, because he just is and nobody can stop him. And since he hates(used to love) the cowboys soo much he is going to try and kill them. But T.O. will try to match move by move you wait and see.

the stats speak for them selves RANDY MOSS is just the best right now and if tom brad stays as his qb he might one day be considered the best. They are a dynamic duo. TB + RM = TD.
