stupid math i ******* hate math! im working on a math problem that says 10 oIo 6 1/2, the answer i got was
1 5/22 but the right answer is 1 13/22. can someone help me?

10 / (6½) = 20 / 13 = 1 7/13

the answer is 20/13 (20/2=10; 6 1/2=13/2). I am trying to figure out how you are getting x/22 and failing.

Change the reciprocal of 13/2. (2/13)
So,
10/1* 2/13=20/13=1 7/13

6 1/2 = (12+1)/2 = 13/2
So,
10/13/2 = 10 * 2/13 = 20/13 = (13+7)/13 = 1 7/13
