How do I become a Sonographer in Colorado? Really need a school that doesn't take to long to graduate from

I really wantto become a sonographer but cant seem to find any trade schools that offer this program in colorado around the denver area. I really want to start school but keep getting told that I need all these english and speech etc etc classes to start, Does anyone know of a good school that will get strait to the point and not make me take meaningless classes like speach etc. Please help....

No.

Because those programs require certain related skills such as the ability to write clearly and to communicate clearly. I suspect you will also have a little math and science to take.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography is taught in the radiology department at University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences Center. It is not an entry level program, it requires that you already have a degree in the health sciences and that you've already completed "algebra, physics, human anatomy and physiology, biology, medical terminology and English composition"

Red Rocks CC in Arvada has an associates degree program in DMS that might be easier to get into but will still require some basic educational core. They also require that you already have a degree in a health sciences area.
