Yes, she can, because it is a medical deduction,
plus it helps her in her job.
She can also take any of her costumes off
( no pun intended here)
as a deduction because they are considered
part of her job.
Just like a mechanic can take a deduction
for his uniforms and any tools that he uses
and pays for himself so that
he can perform his job.

I would. she should include the cost of getting another surgery a few years later when they break or when she is tired of them dragging on the ground in 10 years....
