B) If they do exist and did have power and someone made up proof, WHAT good would it do you?
C) If they do exist and did not have power and someone had proof, WHY would they be of interest?
D) If they do exist and did not have power and someone made up proof, WOULDn't that be just what they want to gain power?
E) If they didn't exist and did not have power and someone made up proof, WHO would take the time to even wonder about them?

Besides, if they did, I'd know them by sight.
