Well Sharpies ar non-toxic, the smell you are sniffing is alcohol, alcohol keeps the tips from drying out when the cap is off. If you like sniffing them because it makes you feel light headed or something, I would definitley stop. Although the fumes from a sharpie do not hurt in small quantities, I wouldn't directly sniff them, because now you're smelling the fumes closely which make the fumes more concentrated. Oh man be careful!!
