It is now well established that all birds, including chickens, are descended from theropod dinosaurs. This means that Tyrranosaurus Rex, a well known theropod, is more closely related to chickens than to iguanas and other modern lizards. It probably also means that if you could catch an barbeque a T. Rex, it would probably "taste like chicken". I hope this helps.
