Try gmpartsdirect.com for a replacement as we used quite a few of the same parts in othr cars and trucks as well. In fact I think all GM motors for htrs were the same back then but just to be sure look up this site as you would be surprised at what we still carry as well as rebuild kits for everything from your door locks on up . Heck we even still carry 1957 Corvette mufflers and fuel injection emblems for the same

There isn't any such thing as a "heater motor" There is a heater core and a squirrel cage type fan that blows air through the core coils to get you warm air. If the cores leaking water it's best replaced. If the fans quit probably the same applies unless your capable of rewinding an electric motor.

Most often, they are just replaced with a new one. After 37 years, it is most likely shot. Even if you are in Austrailia it shouldn't be that much to have one shipped to you.
good luck.

Possibly!!........You might be able to replace the bearings and clean the commutator..........if its riveted togetrher it may be a problem in re-assembly...as you may need extra long bolts
to replace rivets
