That story has been passed down for generations. I am an old fogie now but I could not tell my boys that one because all I did was walk out to the corner and caught the City bus. It took us downtown and dropped us off and we walked to High School. Before that a school bus picked us up at the same corner. But my Dad could tell some good ones. He walked 40 miles a day to school. In the winter they had sleds. He also said one year it got so hot the pop corn he planted on the side of the mountain started to pop and rolled down the hill and the sheep thought it was snow and they froze to death. He said that was a bad year. I could write a book about his stories.
