I met my old lover
On the street last night
She seemed so glad to see me
I just smiled
And we talked about some old times
And we drank ourselves some beers
Still crazy after all these years

I'm not the kind of man
Who tends to socialize
I seem to lean on
Old familiar ways
And I ain't no fool for love songs
That whisper in my ears
Still crazy after all these years
Oh, still crazy after all these years

Four in the morning
Crapped out, yawning
Longing my life away
I'll never worry
Why should I?
It's all gonna fade

Now I sit by my window
And I watch the cars
I fear I'll do some damage
One fine day
But I would not be convicted
By a jury of my peers
Still crazy after all these years
Oh, still crazy
Still crazy
Still crazy after all these years

Hon, I have spent 45 years on this planet. And I don't plan to change any time soon. But I'm going to be like my hero, Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, and live a GONZO life as much as I can while I still have time! I ain't throwing in the towel just yet. (though I've sorely been tempted to.)

In the song Fallen Angel by Robbie Robertson, there is a line that goes, "You've gotta play the hand that's dealt t'ya, that's what the old man always said." But instead, I'm off, "Somewhere Down That Crazy River!" Ahhh, those were the days........

Thanks for the Paul Simon memory!

Since I now fit only 4 of the 9 criteria, I am no longer legally "crazy" after all these years. Or those years. Or any years.

Yes, still crazy. Kinda want to do some damage. But a little more conservative, more patient, and yet take less B.S.
Oh, less BS
Less BS
Less BS after all these years.
