Roaches and Scorpions!
In Cuba we had them in such abundance! Even though I was only 3 when I came up here, I can still remember them, the roaches, flying and getting into one's hair.
The scorpions would nest inside one's shoes overnight and if you forgot to shake your shoes, they'd sting you, but very painfully.
A scorpion sting is about 10 (easy) yellow jackets stings!
And you are left with one ugly, hot and red welt for quite a while!
What they don't tell you in brochures about Island Living!
