None of the answers given above is a good one. The examples used are all cheap mass-market soaps and shampoos that tend to dry out the skin and scalp. Irish Spring and Zest are overscented deodorant soaps that make a guy smell like a woman. Use unscented glycerine soaps for the body and a mild shampoo like Neutrogena for the hair. Guys should use unscented products as much as possible, and avoid excessive use of underarm deodorant. Any perfume smell on a guy is extremely un-masculine.

Shampoo: Pert Plus smells nice and so does Suave its also cheaper.

Irish spring, zest. Those two soaps appear to be marketed to guys more.
Head n shoulders, Selson Blue, dandruff shampoos seem to be marketed more for guys.
Any company that releases guys colognes that also has a soap line is gonna be considered a guys soap or manly.

Dial makes a soap just for men and Suave makes a shampoo for men.

I think Old Spice has a shower soap now...Suave or something cheap and plain for shampoo

Avon for both.
Mesmerize for men is a liquid shower soap and also a shampoo.
Also in talc and deodorant.
My late hubby used to sell Avon
for spare change.
His spare change put two
of my kids through college.
It comes in several fragrances.
I don't care for the one called "Driven",
but then again,
I don't like Derek Jeter, either.
