Seriously, I'm interested in knowing reasons. Why do people think the government planned it? There is some weird evidence that suggests that, but I want to know why they would do that.

They wouldnt. We were attacked by Terrorists. I dont know why that is so hard for people to understand.

What other time have you heard of so many foreign men smuggling weapons on four different flights in different airports all on the same day without any of them getting caught in the process?
What took so long to determine which flights were hijacked, and then why weren't those flights brought down by the military?
I don't think we planned it - but it is hard to look at it and not think someone turned a blind eye and let it happen.
Ask yourself, who gained the most from the situation? After 9/11, everyone felt sorry for the US and supported us. And we (by we I mean the Bush administration) used 9/11 as an excuse to charge into Iraq. Halliburton and all the friends of the administration have gotten rich as a result of what happened on and after 9/11 - Bin Laden just got evicted.
9/11 upsets me too. I fought to defend my country too. But come on... how did that many Middle Eastern guys get through security with box cutters on the same day?

Well, there's not that much evidence backing up the claim that the government did it.
There is, however, evidence against the original story in the 9/11 Commission report... which branches out into a billion different things.

Well you see some people have got entirely too much free time on their hands or perhaps their handlers took the medication themselves.
If the gov did it, what happened to all the people on those planes?
This would require actually thousands of people to keep their mouths shut. In this country. For 6 years.
We can't even manage to get the yearly National Security Estimate from point A to point B through supposedly top level security without it getting to the New York Post.

Then why was Moussaoui(20th hijacker) in FBI custody in minneaplois for at least 2 weeks before 9/11 without the plot being foiled?
According to retired FBI agent Coleen Rowley FBI HQ denied requests for FISA warrants for weeks before 9/11......thus obstructing terrorism investigations!Ms. Rowley worked in the Minneapolis office who caught Moussaoui!The 911 commission never interviewed her.She was a footnote in the 911 commission report.

I actually think South Park is right. The conspiracies are started by the govenment, they themselves are the conspiracy. If people think the government can pull that off they'll have more fear and respect than if they think a buch of Arab nutjobs pulled it off.
Hey, there is the same amount of proof for the idea I gave as there is for most of the conspiracy theories out there.
