No - that's just taste.

Prime rib tastes better than raisins. If dog food really tastes better than cat food, to acknowledge this is specieism (racism is between races, not species)?

not really. I've heard of college kids eating dog food while trying to work their way through college. Can't remember where from so no references. Never heard of any college kid eating cat food though...so on second thought might be racism between dogs and cats.

Wow, isn't the word 'racism' very in-vogue today???

Well, considering anthropologists around the world agree, there is no such thing as 'race'.

Coupled with the fact that they are of a different, uhm, SPECIES.

It's more like a... discrimination on basis of species.

Dog food is generally made from chicken and had more variety as a cat does not like these meats. Mostly fish. Therefore, there's more flavor than eating fish.

No, it's a matter of opinion.

Acctually I think cat food must taste better because if you put both foods down any dog I've ever seen would eat the cat food first. ;-))

I didn't know that. I guess I'll have to switch Grandma to dog food now. Probably will make her coat shinier anyway.
