Somebody else and I tried it to see....their edit never came thru...so be sure to "recheck " answers before you "hang up the phone"!!

My answers change. This person said they were going to edit and let me see if I got the edit in my email. I didn't. There ya' go!!! (Maybe they at least read it when they choose Best Answer)

No notification is given when a question is edited...

I always check my edits to make sure they 'took' ;-)

Even though you were not notified that the answer was edited, did it get changed to what you wanted it to be or was it the way you had it before the edit?

The reason that I asked this is because I have went back a few times and edited my answers and it did change. And I always wondered if the person that asked the question was notified or not.

Denie...yahoo only ever considers your one answer as one answer. They will notify the questioner just the one time. But if he/she is anything like me, they go back to check on the answers received many times before they decide on BA.

What I hate to see is those people that CHANGE their first answer using the edit button to something else entirely without indicating such. It always smacked of dishonesty to me, and I am nothing if not completely honest.

If it is particularly time sensitive, I will even include the date and time I added the edit. THAT has only happened a couple of times.

Hmmm..... I've never had a problem with my edit's. I will double check now though!

Edit ---------------------------- Can you read me now?

Edit ......................... now? Seems to be working, at my end.
