Some championship game from the 40's where I didn't know the winner. Knowing the outcome kind of spoils it.

Well, since Super Bowl III was already mentioned I would probably have to say the 1964 NFL Championship game between the Browns and the Colts - the last time the Browns won the NFL Championship. Just to see Jim Brown play in person would have been something - i watch the highlight films and am just amazed.
Or maybe two games from 1950 - the opening game of the season where the Browns, considered an expansion franchise but coming over from the old AAFL (the All American Football League) where they beat the Philadelphia Eagles - the previous champions of the NFL, And then maybe the championship game that year where the Browns played the LA Rams - after all it was the Rams who had won a championship in Cleveland and then left for LA when the Browns became reality.

Probably the 1958 title game between the Colts and Giants. It really made the NFL a national game.
However, I might have been at the best game ever -- Oilers at Bills in 1992 (or so), when Houston jumped out ahead, 35-3, and lost in overtime, 41-38. Unbelievable. And I did watch the Redskins roll up 72 points on the Giants, who got a mere 41. The game was on television in 1966. New York was just terrible that season.

The game where niners Joe Montana threw to Dwight Clark."The Catch" that beat Dallas.
-or- The Steelers game where they won it by Franco Harris catching a TD pass that bounced off of a Raider.

I guess that game where the redskins scored 72 points. I mean how is that even possible
but i'd really love the AFC Championship game of 87. With John Elway's "The Drive"

gotta go with the ice bowl. that's one of the most famous game, if not the most famous game. i'm used to the weather up here in the north, so it wouldn't bother me. ok, ok. yeah, it would be cold, but i'd know it was coming and i'd be prepared. nothing like watching football on the Frozen Tundra!
