me and a distant family member of mine both experienced a relationship with someone that was involved and even married with kids to someone else (we both didnt know about it, please read on), these men lived two lives, with me he was having two families, mine with my kids and parents and his, in two countries thats why i didnt know there was someone else. either way, both men had pretty much the same pattern, one claimed to have cancer, the other a heart attack, of course it was a lie. i dont consider myself naive, neither is my cousin, but somehow we got trapped in something crazy. i read this is a pattern and a disorder these people have, anyone else ever experienced something like it?

The others probably have some borderline personality disorder, and/or narcissism going on. Not to mention pathological liars.

But more importantly is that the people who fell for these jerks take a look at why/how it happened. That's more important then trying to figure out why they do what they do.

I can't express how important it is for us to look at why we got involved with certain people then focus on their behavior. And I don't mean in a negative way either. We just add it our findings to our list of "things that are deal breakers" in relationships.

It's hard to say "what I want in a guy" it's much easier to start with "what I don't want in a guy or tolerate in a guy"

PS: Schizos wear winter coats in the summer and talk to buildings so I'm sure neither one of the those had that. They just had/have personality disorders is all.

I don't appreciate people using the term "schizo"... doesn't make one seem intelligent. Not to mention, it's not kind to ask if these people are using "schizophrenic behavior" as the question was titled, because honestly I guess you don't know what schizophrenia is. There is a diversity to it. Yes, the ones with the worser cases may talk to someone who isn't there, but they also can see and hear things or people who are not there.. they can live in fear of someone hurting them or be told to hurt others. They didn't ask for this disorder, so please don't use such terms unless you know what you are talking about.
As for your question, I would ask your self what hints there were, and why you trusted him as much as you did.... and what this says about your self in relationships. I'm sure you are/were pretty hurting over it, and I would be too... but at least you found out. There are people out there with "disorders" ... I hate to use that term, but there are people out there who literally have something messed up in the brain and it is why they do the things they do, such as in your case. But, don't forget that there is also the possibility that he was just playin' you all, or got too emotionally involved in both families and was torn and didn't know how to handle it. Just remember you are loved by others and this one person should not reflect poorly upon your self.

It's not a disorder. I wish people would quit trying to name a disorder everytime something happens they don't like.

Some people are just mean and are users. Get over it.

The obsession over black females is uncontrolled, yet you may no longer blame all of it on white adult adult males whilst black adult adult males are purely as undesirable. One might anticipate that habit from whites yet whilst black adult adult males degrade black females it fairly is purely unhappy. they're the only race who disrespect their very own females.
