I would most definitely have! I had a vascetomy 6 yrs ago and, although, I do not regret having the procedure, I would have like an contraceptive option. I have 2 children, a boy and a girl, and at the time we did not want anymore children. I am personnally looking forward to having both of my kids out of the house and off to college by the time I am 42 but my wife has been getting the baby itch. I have reached my quota on animals allowed for my city so hopefully she wont get one for a while (or atleast until one of the animals passes on).

You're asking women if they would use a male contraceptive. No, I would not use a male contraceptive. My husband, however, said he would. Even 6 years ago, when they said the male pill would be ready by 2003, he said he would. They keep delaying it. I don't think they're that close at all.

I have a bit of a pill phobia, so in relationships that I have, the only way to prevent pregnancy is condoms, or female condoms, diaphragms, etc. I refuse to ever go on "the pill". I really like the sound of those little implants that cut off sperm flow, or reversible vasectomies. I don't want my man to be forced to swallow pills every day either, but most of the other options sound great.

Yes. I would love it. I don't have insurance at the moment (he does)and I hate using condoms (we're both STD free and in a long term relationship so pregnancy is the only concern). I'm tired of being the one responsible for preventing pregnancy. Let him worry about it. While I still would be the pregnant one, I wouldn't carry the responsibility, which would be a breath of fresh air.

I would be completely for it. I hated being the one to have to make the decision and be the responsible one in the bed. I hated using condoms, so I had to suffer being sick and getting head aches due to the pills. I think that the men should have a chance to take a shot at it.

men are always screaming for equality, let them have it. my guy and i have already decided that in 5 years when my i.u.d runs out, we're going to sit down, decide if we want more kids and if not, he's getting a vasectomy. it's not major surgery like getting your "tubes tied".

if there was a pill or something like it for him , i would trust him to use it!

Reproductive equality? You mean that a man could have sex with 600 women in a single day?

"Vasectomy means never having to say you're sorry."

(Not really, but still.)
