I don't want him gaining too much weight. He needs to stay lean and hungry so that he can continue to be Top Dawg in the Neighbourhood. So what should he get for exercise.

Well, my dog is just like my sweetie. He's very active and doesn't like to be in the house all the time. But he is also well trained, so he usually roam the house or go out in the backyard by himself. But he never strays or chases after cars, people or other girl dogs ;-)

Outdoor exercise consist of walking around the neighborhood and visiting the nearby park and playground. He is a bit territorial, so he insist upon taking the same route so that he can make sure that his property is still marked and claimed as his. Being the only big dog in the neighborhood, he doesn't really have much competition, but still never-the-less, he insist upon making his mark :-D. All this last about an hour or 1hr and a half. I know he has gotten a good exercise when he sleeps throughout the night, otherwise he'll wake up in the middle of the night, jump on my bed and nudges me to give play with him. ;-)

post it in the dog section, but you should give him as much as you can- and I hope you're joking about keeping him hungry! That's not ok.
