Jerry Bruckheimer [producer] said that if everybody was up to it they might make another 3 & Johnny Depp also mentioned that he would like to do another 3 if there was a good script.
I also heard that if they did make a 4th movie that it would be a prequel, [like Hanible Rising] but the way the 3rd one ended [if you saw the end part after the credits, it was 10 years later sort of thing] I can't imagine them coming up with anything because the little end-credit things always continue in the next movie [like the un-dead monkey]

Yes, there will be a Pirates 4 it takes off from the end of the 3rd one. Im trusting that you have already seen it, but the next one will be about finding the Fountain of Life. Thats what Captain Jack was looking at on the rotating map at the end.

yup! there's gonna be a next one! it will show in 2009! but there are rumors that elizabeth swann and will turner will not be a part of it!
