I completly agree! I miss the old disney movies and I feel bad for the new generation, they will never know what a good disney movie is.

Most people have a favorite movie from disney's classics. Great quality, music, theme, message, COUPLES, romance, comedy, action... It has EVERYTHING...

Disney's classics are the best movies created!!! little kids and grown-ups love them!!! Now they are just making silly movies about talking cars and super heroes... of course we watch these movies, we laugh, but it's not something that impacts us...

We also have to consider that now there are different interests, the new generation is completely different, maybe they want to see other stuff.. Idk... but I still think it's time that Disney makes again a movie about a princess or an epic hero, with a good message and a romantic story... a movie so good that would make us fall in love all over again with the magical world of disney, which would let us believe that everything is possible!!!

The same thing as all movie studios, they are run by accountants. Only the numbers have to look good, not the product or story. Don't try anything new! Too dangerous. It might not make truck fulls of money. Gamble on only formulas that have made the most dollars before.

The "Rocks" new movies is like that. Everything is the same formula, nothing new. It is well done and the actors give it a life on its own.

The only place we might get anything fresh is with cable or satellite while they still have some play in the budgets.

Part of the problem is that when certain films failed to meet Box office expectations (like 'Treasure Planet') the people involved were ash-canned.

When Pixar had the temerity to ask for more money, they were almost shown the door 9and if Eisner was still Chairman, that would have happened)

The big problem is that things that are in the pipeline will take a couple more years to flush through.

Whether Iger can take Disney back to where is once stood, that cannot be told with any certainty

Yeah I know bad huh! I'm always trina watch all the classics but my lil bro always laughs at me b4 I get the chance to watch 'em. They're still making pretty good Disney/Pixar movies but there's like, NO MORE cartoon movies! :'( so depressing. Disney make gr8 real movies [like Pirates of the Carribean & stuff like that] but all the teen stuff is really sh!t. That's what Warner Bros is for people!

I'm adding to what lazybabe said. Yeah, Disney is going back to the classics, but they're just rehashing over old stuff, making lame sequels or remakes of the classics we loved.

Maybe she meant that the Disney company should try to REMEMBER what made them so great in the first place (sorry if it seems like I'm putting words in your mouth, honey).

They're trying to reach new generations(and failing miserably IMO).
