He caught him once, and I bought the actual cell from Warner Brothers.
The cell shows Wile E. Coyote holding the Road Runner by the neck and holding up a sign with his other hand. The sign say "Now what do I do with him?". The he lets him go, and the chase resumes.

The road runner is actually pretty dumb (and in real life too). Its ironic humour and it would all come crashing down if the smart coyote ever caught the stupid bird.

It is all about the advertising dollar....we watch, we wait, we feel it happening...and it just never pans out. They (the man) keep us wanting. I have all this knowledge and yet...I want to believe that the road runner is getting ready to get served on a bed of rice with salad....which is probably extra. You know how they are.

The coyote is mellow because of the pot he's just smoked , the roadrunner is high from all the speed he's just taken.

once he chased the rr through some pipes that got smaller til they came out the otherside tiny
they went back through the other way rr came out the right size wile-e came out still tiny. He ran into him and wrapped his arms around rr's leg. then looked up at this sky scraper
and held up a sign that said "you wanted to see me catch him... Now what do I do?"
it was my favorite episode
