tallest. The odd thing is, I am always, I mean always, the best passer, shooter, dribbler, and defender. I make good decisions like a point guard, plus I am usually at least the second fastest kid on the court,
I want to know "how I can feel less awkward playing against extremely smaller point guards?"

You must have a lot of short kids at your school.

First off kid get off of the internet advertising yourself...If you grow up and you are 6 foot 10 you can hang up being a point guard. If you are 6'1 - 6'5 at the most or shorter, you have a chance to be a PG. There shouldn't be any awkwardness being taller than everyone else. you have probably been taller than everybody your whole life. don't worry about being a PG just keep playing and you will end up where you end up. good luck

Well, if you're very coordinated for a tall guy playing point, that is a VERY good thing.

The thing is, you can't.

I was 6'2'' as a freshman in high school and played point, against people smaller than you.

But it's a good advantage, because the defenders you're against are either too small to guard you, or too slow to guard you. We both just happened to get very lucky.

well if ur one of the taller on the court the cant move a short person on the post so u pretty much have to be post but my advice is to get a play gaurds r @ the top and post on the blocks and gurads set a screen for post then the other team will still be on man to man and there wont be a mitch match

Dont worry, I just asked the question "adjusting from post to guard" trust me, your coach will see your talents over time and areas you are good at and not so good at. So if you wanna play point make a point (hehe) to show him/her your insane dribbling and running and shooting skills, but keep in mind their final decision about where to play you will have to benefit the team, not just you...
Good luck <33

Just be a forward for now, but keep your skills up. 5'7" may be just a little tall for a seventh grader, but either one of two things will happen. One everyone will catch up to you (this is the most likely one), and two you'll end up like Magic Johnson and be able to play all five positions.
