Yes, and I find it true with other sections of Yahoo Answers. In the other sections (which I frequent more) it seems they lie or just BS a lot and I guess they don't want to get caught by someone looking in their profile and checking previous answers. I saw a drivers license question today that just looked wrong and after checking previous answers, I found she was flat lying about her circumstances.NOTE: Freepress02, I am a level 6 and all my answers are there in my profile.

It is done out of self preservation, when ever I post anything about Bush that is unflattering I get a violation notice. Once I posted something about Bush's brother Neil, I got a violation.
All I said is Neil cost the taxers million of dollars in the Silverdo Saving and Loans scandal and all he got was a slap on the wrist because of who he is, where if you or I did the same thing we would be doing 10-20 in a federal pen.

Actually, it's a matter of self-defense. I would like to have my Q&As where everyone could see them, but the trolls come out when you stay on here long enough, and my email account is too important to lose because some troll disagrees with my opinion.

Honestly? If they're qeued private, I'm not sure that I even WOULD notice.
So that, for me, would be no. I haven't noticed.
Sounds dull.
But you're right, I would expect them to be special questions.
If not
then I wonder that you are finding something that makes me think of a mass of pigeons pecking at a food dispenser.
Maybe even pecking other birds eyes out to get at just the right kind of food-reward.

That or cannot handle the backlash - If their question is done in a non confrontational way logic serves that the answers should be the same..but not the case. I find it sad that anyone just truly interested in what others think has to preference it by " I am not trying to start a fight".

I've noticed some doing this.
I've had my old q & a attacked by trolls, and it's really childish and annoying, actually. But Yahoo gets on it pretty quickly when you respond to each warrantless violation.
Freepress has made me cry. Wah!

No, it's to keep the trolls from attacking your account by going on a reporting spree. They have to connect to you to see your Q&A. It at least gives you the chance to block them before they can do too much damage.

I don't buy that "I have to defend myself from trolls" BS these people wouldn't have nothing to worry about if they followed the community guidelines, they just want to be free to insult etc.

No, they probibly are answering their own questions, and ask questions solely to push their ideological beliefs.
