Yes, I had a CB radio in my little Orange Volkswagen Beetle. My handle was "Misty Eyes" for the 7 or 8 years that I used the CB.

My dad had a CB radio for years. I don't remember what his handle was, I'll have to ask him. He's got a scanner in the house now, guess he has always wanted to know what was going on out there. lol

Yes I did have a CB years age. We belonged to a CB club, I can't remember what the name of the club was as it was to many years ago. We would have a meeting to go to every Saturday and play bingo and win big prizes and cash money. My handle was Lady Roadrunner.

Yes I did and still own my original CB radio. I even still have my original FCC issued CB license. That license was short lived though because then they were no longer needed.
MY handle was Lightening.

We lived in a small town, drove single lane mountains with turn outs so we needed CB's to receive notice of logging trucks coming down. (They'd announce via CB radio's with sayings like, "coming down 2856 road at mile marker 7 on an empty low boy, mile marker 7") .

I didn't choose my name, it was one that stuck: Columbus.

Edit: that's when we went up the mountains, the town had normal roads.

Sure did....and my handle was 'Lucky Lady' It was in the late 70's and later in '80 when my eldest daughter started college and I was on the road those first two years with constant visiting or helping her to move once again [lol] I used it a lot to keep me company on I-95. The semi drivers got to know me and back then were such a help on the road!
