Recently a fed. prosecutor committed suicide after being arrested during a sting for attempting to have sex with a five year old.

These are not humans, they are monsters. Why do we protect them and not just kill them our put them on an island so they can rape each other. A majority of sex offenders are repeat offenders. They can not be put back into society, they must be executed or placed in a box. Am I the only one that sees this?

So here's Kudo's to you Mr. Prosecutor, thank you for stepping up and taking the lead and killing yourself, you realize you are nothing and did the best thing for everyone now it's time for all the other animals to follow.

You're absolutely right. A sexual predator must be dealt with severely: both punitively and securely.

Nonetheless, there is no mechanism that eliminates their fundamental, Constitutional right to have a quick trial, to be presumed innocent until being found guilty, and to be represented by counsel. They are "protected" so that justice may ultimately be served.

What if they were summarily executed and they were innocent? What if they were "framed" with child pornography?

We had a wise *** go into our computers at work and pull up the most offensive sites, to incriminate other workers. Because of this mentality running amok in America, we cannot knee jerk justice, even when it deals with arguably the most loathsome of human monster.

Also, I believe that our media is whipping up a bit of a frenzy about child molesters. Child exploitation, sadly, is nothing new. Albert Fish, Ed Gein, etc. lived in the 30's and 40's, not in the new millennium. Nothing new at all. Arguably there are even worse crimes that happen more frequently, which are not reported as they're not "newsworthy."

I agree 100% I have no idea what should be done with these monsters.
Preying on a child is as low as anyone can go!
I would like to see them all put to death, that would stop them doing any further harm but unfortunately, for the children they have hurt, their pain is something that never goes away so why should the molesters get put out of their misery?
I was reading only yesterday about the teacher that killed those two little girls in England a while ago, apparently he keeps trying to kill himself and the infirmary keeps fixing him up and sending him back into the jail, method in their madness do you think?
Maybe he can be tortured a lot more alive than dead!!

You're right. These monsters cannot be trusted to live among society. It's a shame what some children live through in today's society. And I'm sure we only hear about a small percentage of what really goes on in some childrens' lives.

Can we not call them animals? I can't remember the last time I heard about an animal doing something like that. Animals deserve to be treated with a bit more respect.
I'm glad he killed himself, too. And yeah, it would be nice if they all did that.

I agree they definitely should not be put back in society. We need harsher sentences. Although I wouldn't advocate people to commit suicide I can't say I feel bad for this guy. I think the person who inferred that you were getting your facts mixed up mistakenly thought you were referring to Louis "Bill" Conradt Jr. Ihttp://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15592444/ I believe you are referring to John D.R. Atchison. He's the pervert who flew to molest the 5-year-old and it had nothing to do with "Dateline". http://www.charlotte.com/nation/story/307363.html

Yes, I have to agree. They are the worse of the worse. They don't deserve, to live around decent law abiding citizens.

He wasn't a federal prosecutor. He was an assistant district attorney for a county in Texas! And his home was surrounded by police who were following up the NBC "Dateline" show about him. He was never arrested. He was never convicted. He had never been in jail. His widow has filed suit against NBC and the organization Perverted Justice in this matter.
Now you have the rest of the story. I'm sorry if I shook you up with the facts.
