For our play auditions, they gave us monologues. We have to memorize it. Mine calls for playing a girl who's on an energy drink, which wouldn't be that hard for me. Except for the fact that we have to do them in British accents. Now, I can barely do a British accent slowly. What can I do to make my accent better and sound like a hyper British girl?

I know how you feel, although I didn't need to be all hyper, for drama class myself and my friend have to do some dialogue from "The Importance of Being Earnest" and it lasts for like 6 mins and we have to speak in a british accent...anyway try this site.. http://www.wikihow.com/Speak-in-a-British-Accent
see if it works?

and as everyone else has said practise and watch some british films..

do you have drama teachers at your school..? ask them how to perfect you're british accent..

YOu really just need to listen and repeat. That's what I had to do when i needed a JAMACIAN accent for a play (i'm a little white irish girl hahaha).
Honestly, now would be a good time to like Harry Potter. You can watch, and then try to repeat what they say.
Listening and repeating though, that is probably the best thing for you.
Quick thing... always remember turn americanized a sounds into "aw" sounds.

Practice, practice, practice. When you do it fast, your listeners may not have time to hear your errors. ps I think your directors are idiots. What ever happened to reading from the script?
