I have an imitation pair that is tie-die, and yes, they look stupid for everyday wear. Imitation brands are softer than the originals. I wear mine in the backyard, and I don't know how they crossed over into the world of proper shoes.
I like mine because they make me feel like a gnome when I wear them. :)

Both look bad to me. I saw some nurse's with them on Wed. when I was at the VA. I f you like them it's ok, but I don't care for them.
