Okay, if a spider jumps it is a different kind of spider called a Salticidae. They do have venom, but their venom is probably about as harmful as a bee's stinger venom. I am sure that you have gotten stung by a bee before. It will sting, but nothing will happen. There is poison in you, but it is not harmful, it probably only makes the bite itchy like a mosquito bite. Just do not itch it and irritate it and you will be fine

I just checked an email I received that shows the progression of a brown recluse bite. It doesn't show what it looks like until day 3. By then it very red around the bite site which looks yellow with pus. It will progress until about day 8 the hand will have necrotic tissue. By day 10 they will probably will recommend ampution. So if you really think it was a brown recluse then you better get to the doctor first thing in the morning.

If it was really small I doubt it could have penetrated the first layer of skin. Try"what bug is that.com". Location and coloring. If it was the small usually colorful spiders that jump at you when you put your finger near them, and look like they have their feet tucked under their body try "Salticidae"
