This Empty-Nesting Single Retiree was a Long Term Single Parent (who HAD to earn everything to support her children) ... so ... for this upcoming birthday ...
NOW that the children are ADULTS and out on their own ... I would DEARLY LOVE to have my NEW Boyfriend (yes, after a couple of decades I can FINALLY DATE!) here at my home (and I have my home on the market) and just there with a big, big hug and some cuddles ... and perhaps .. just perhaps .. we find ourselves in a commitment phase of the relationship ... that would be HEAVENLY!

I work a 7 day week and have for years. What I would really like for my 55th birthday next month is to come home and find my house shining and someone else making supper AND doing all the dishes! Also, my car detailed. THAT would be excellent beyond my dreams!
