I drove a tow truck when that occured, and I had to dig cars out of the mud from the torrent that followed.

I also refubished many of the vehicles for insurance companies at the time.

Boy, you are sure bringing up memories from the past. I only saw the coverage in the newspapers, but the footage from this disaster has been, as you know, on television many times. I have driven past the area a few times before I moved from So. Calif. to Washington.

I lived in La Puente, Calif. then and saw it on TV. It was horrifying.
