How old do you have to be to work as a restaurant?

I am just wondering how old you have to be to work at a restaurant and what I would be doing their?

Some are 18

Usually restaruants liek Mcdonalds and BK look for workers porbably around the age of 16 or 17, but if its a higher class restaurandt, lets say Chillis...porbably around 18 or 19..

Depends. Some will let you work with a permit at 15 but your hours will be limited and you probably will be busing tables.
