For more specificity, change that the bomb was dropped by "the Americans" to "United States military forces." Don't capitalize all of the letters of the names of the bombs. Don't capitalize "Atomic Bomb." Your sentence that starts with the word "Japan" begins abruptly and could use a smoother transition phrase. You are providing good details so far, but eventually you are going to lead your readers to whatever your main idea is. There are more improvements needed, but these are just a few I could suggest from a casual glance.
