No, but I've answered a question in a sarcastic way, and it backfired. I've also answered a question honestly, and it backfired, for someone took it the wrong way (if you know what I mean), and it was deleted (and I am sure that there are many people who DO know what that mean.

Many years ago, I answered the phone at work and it was a guy wanting to make an airline reservation from L.A. to Phoenix. I asked him what time he wanted to leave, return, etc., and gave him a confirmation number (fake). I kept the conversation going and just for fun, knowing I was anonymous, offered him a good time when he returned. We had a lively conversation and I learned he was calling from a location less than 10 miles away.

Before hanging up, I revealed that he had dialed the wrong number and told him he didn't really have a flight reserved. He took it in good humor then asked me for personal information. Apologetically, I explained that I could only disclose that my identity was Operator 10 and we hung up.

Moments later, the phone rang and I answered, identifying the name of my business as well as my own name, and the caller asked for Operator 10.

once we were playing prank calls in house with the cell phones, I picked up the phone and said... "Shorty's Pool Hall, Q-Ball speaking." The call was from an actual person. She laughed and I didn't know what to do, so I hung up. The lady called back and I apologized and admitted what we were doing. I was so embarrassed. I'm the adult in this situation!
