The answer to if x=160% of y,what percent is y of x ?
is 160%

If the question is supposed to be
if x=160% of y,what percent is x of y?
Then 62.5% is the answer

x = 160%y

x = 1.6y

x/1.6 = y

0.625x = y

62.5%x = y

160% = 160/100 = 16/10 = 8/5

Then, x= 8/5 y

y= x : 8/5

y= 5/8 x

You know that x = 1.6y, so y = x / 1.6. You compute 1/1.6 and you get 0.9434 so y = 94.34% of x
