That is a good question. I happen to believe that there is a never ending reservoir of information and energy that is available to all - it's a mystical thing. When you are really desperate or apply yourself to studying something with intense focus, previous hidden stores of information will be available to you. I think there is some evidence for this train of thought - important inventions will be produced by one inventor and later it is discovered that many people were on the trail of the same discovery. We not only have access to a universal flow of consciousness, but we tend to communicate our thoughts to others on an unconscious level.

Where does it all come from? I think it has a spiritual basis and has always been there. We are constantly re-discovering ourselves.
