Who knows. I do think they affected the Yanks more, though. They seemed to have more issues (Joba, Jeter). Must be the scent of steroids.

to tell you the truth, if you watched the game you would understand why we were complaining about the bugs. Not only were the bugs at there worst in that bottom of the 8th inning, but if you watched how Chamberlain pitched in the 7th inning, you could understand why. Chamberlain has impeckable control, thats y his ERA is lest than .50, he was visibly effected by the bugs. The umpires should have stopped the game, and had a delay for an hour, it was rediculous.
By the way, andy pettite pitched tremendous, and was definately the yankees best pitcher, he was a warrior out there on the mound today.

Drama, no matter how corny or misinterpreted, must always be advantageous to the Yankee mythology.
When the Yankees play, the other team is on the field only as a technical necessity. Kinda like the groom at a wedding; gotta have one, but it doesn't really do anything.
And that's Yankee baseball.

I don't think that. It's just that it affected Joba very much which led to that tying run in the 8th. When you really want your team to win in this kind of situation, and you know that they are very well capable of it, you want to say stuff like that. Everybody makes excuses when they lose; that goes for everybody.

I could give a horse's *** about either of these teams, but that is REALLY REALLY Gross. It was not a swarm of bugs, it was a fog of bugs, just watching it on TV gave me hives and I have never heard of such **** in any other stadiums.
What's with Cleveland? Don't you people clean your stadiums?
