For starters, I am an African American woman currently in an interracial relationship. My boy friend is Caucasian and his complexion is very pale, while I am dark brown. He has told me that my complexion makes me very very sexy. However, I am curious to know if dark brown skin turn white guys on in general, or does it have to do with things being opposite. I am just curious. I mean, I know how my boyfriend feels, but I am just curious to know if dark brown skin is a sexual turn on to you guys. What makes things so different?! I mean a woman is a woman. Yes, dark brown skin does turn me on, my girlfriend is Black and shes a dark skinned woman, and very beautiful too.
Plus, I just love Black women's features, very exotic and beautiful.

Normally I'd say a man likes what a man likes....no rhyme, reason, or pattern to it. But after reading the arrogant airhead cheerleader above referring to the esteem of light skinned girls somehow affecting interracial mixes, it is not hard to imagine why a man any man would prefer a dark girl to a light one *IF* her nastiness was typical of a light complexion lady. Thank goodness it isn't! Most of the light skinned ladies I know date a variety outside of their own race, so her ideas of who is giving who the time of day is limited to the nasty fools who have no choice but to keep to their own nasty kind - she can embrace nasty haters all she wants, keeps them tied up elsewhere. Don't let her subtle stab at you and your complexion taint your thought on truly beautiful lighter women of all shades. I would love to see how little Miss Lina cowers when a beautiful dark women overhears her outrageous arrogance. I really didn't think you could get a head that big and filled with hot air that far up someone's rear end.
Always remember your shade of skin is nothing compared to laughter and love in your heart.

Adonis you go boy! Lina H you need to get real. I see pretty light skinned black girls with white men all the time. I'm medium dark skinned and my husband loves the contrast between our skin tones. He's not snow white but he is some what pale and he thinks my skin against his is very sexy.

It depends. Some white guys like dark skins, others prefer their own skin colour. It just depends on the individual. I know it makes life that much easier to understand life by generalizing but don't let generalizations be your guide.

There are beautiful black white asian women. I think the more education and take the country out of the boy then suddenly he realizes there is something more out there then white bread and wants to expand his horizons and experience new cultures. Black women are stunning. I am a white woman,,I am into men myself but I recognize the beauty in black women, very exotic and some women are very beautiful.

IDK.. most of the white guys I dated, I was the first black (actually Creole) girl they had ever been involved with. Whenever I asked them why.. they could never answer it. I would just say don't try to figure out what the attraction is, as long as it's there.

I know that some guys prefer dark-skinned women, just as some prefer really fat women. Me, I don't care about skin color, but I don't like fat. It is just a preference thing. While I am "white" (a mixture, really), I am considered dark complexioned.
By the way, my wife is a nice tan color; she is a Filipina.
If I had met an African American that was interested in me, I would have married one!
