Well, my and my cousin are both in the 8th grade at the same school. Most people would be like oh cool, but I'm not! She always tries to be miss popularity and I don't like that! When we were in elementary we didn't go to the same school, and we were alot closer than we are now! She blocks me online so she can swear with her friends because she doesnt know I do, she used to say "Hi" in the halls but now she walks right by and gives me a dirty look unless she is by herself(no friends). We barely ever hang out anymore and I miss the days when we did every weekend. How can I convince her that you don't have to be popular? What can I do to become closer again?

Ask her to hang with you for a day, just the two of you.
Tell her how you miss how close you both use to be.
You dont need to tell her that she doesn't need to be miss popularity at school, that would cause a fight.
Try to re-bond with her.
