I do. I mean, what she did was wrong. But I still can't help feeling a little sorry for her.

I feel sad about the whole situation.

I look at the examples she has had for her entire life in politics, business and entertainment, and I guess I understand why people would think it was OK to cheat and believed they would get away with it.

Whether she knew what she was injecting we will never know. I take prescribed drugs every day but have to take somebody else's word as to what they are.

I think that until we have a culture where one parent can stay at home to raise the children, and our self-styled leaders are no longer such obvious liars and thieves with no morals, things will not improve.

Not a chance. So many athletes out there would kill to be in the olympics and work so hard only do get turned down in the olympic tryouts. Someone who actually deserved that spot should have gotten it. She didn't represent the United States well at all. Furthermore, that is a disgrace to the track community. She lied and knew she should not have taken steroids. If everyone were able to use steroids, there would truly be no real talent left in the world. And thats what the olympics is for, right? To recognize the most talented, hardworking athletes from all over the world.

She is a sympathetic figure, but she made free choices and either understood the risks, or should have known the risks she was taking.

Her actions have harmed thousands of people, mostly children who idolized her.
She has tarnished the sport that has been the focus of my life for 50 years.

She has ruined her life, for now and forever.
It was her choice, she could have won without cheating.

I have respect for her. It takes a lot to step forward and admit that you were wrong about something. She did not place the blame on anyone but herself. I am proud of her and respect her totally. I hope and pray for the best for her in the future.

No. She came out because she was caught. She's known for years if the truth came out she would be disgraced nationally, stripped of her metals, and subject to criminal prosecution. She hid it for years, it's just now the facts are undeniable.

She took drugs. She hid it. She got caught.

She's a loser.

I do. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone lies, no one on this earth is perfect. What she did I think wasn't wrong at all, there are lots of athletes to this day using performance enhancing drugs, they just haven't got caught yet. Yes she was wrong for lying, but she is human. My heart goes out to her. May God bless her and ease her hurt.
