I recently got a miniature dollhouse---finished, I guess you would call it---and I've been bitten by the mini bug. I LOVE miniatures! Is there a Website or catalog from which I can buy inexpensive miniatures at 1/2 inch scale [meaning, 1/2 inch=1 foot]? Don't say eBay, please. I want a real company if I can find one. Please help me carry on miniature-ing, because a very close person in my life died last year, and she loved miniatures, and I guess you could say it's contagious. :)
Thanks for looking at this, and I hope whoever is awarded best answer deserves it.

I can really give you some help with your miniatures. I gave you an answer with 3 different sites that have a wealth of help for you. When I tried to submit it, I got an error 999, what ever that is. If you ask again, I will try to help you.

I was also bitten by the miniature bug when my daughter was young. I took great pride in making many of my own items. You could try your local library for patterns and ideas, and I am sure that if you google miniatures you could find more vendors than you could imagine. The 1/2 inch scale is smaller than average so may be a bit harder to find, but I am sure that it is out there.
Good Luck!!
