Sure I DID, it turned out to be a problem for me. I did not no how to get rid of it by AA other meetings nothing was working.
One night I had just bought a new case of beer. I was going to watch the Rangers play baseball and drink my beer. It was at that time that I raised one of the cans toward GOD. I told Jesus that I was not going to quit on my own It is up to You to help me.

I took a drink and watched the game that was the first night of approx. 18 more months of drinking. I could put that stuff away.
Then my wife and I found that I had just lost a job. The drinking had nothing to do with the job. We were homeless for the first time in our lives. We had to rent a motel room at that time. We went to the store fore some things to eat. My wife knew I liked to drink and she asked if I wanted a case of beer I better get it and I told her not right now. That afternoon I was once again if I wanted some beer and I said no again.

A lot of people know if you are a heavy drinker that you can't go cold turkey with out medical help. I have to say that if it was just I that was going to quit the only medical help came from GOD, Jesus, & the Holy Ghost. Since I quit in the 80's I have stayed sober. Thanks to Jesus my savoir.

I like martini's (especially the flavored kinds like apple and cosmopolitans) and I like Petron Tequila shots. Dry white wines like Rieslings are also good tasting to my palate.
However, since alcohol likes no one and wreaks havoc on the body; especially the liver. I only drink socially and only a few times a year; and then never to excess. All things in moderation. Besides hangovers are nasty business that are easily avoidable.

I don't drink very often, and this may seem just a bit lowbrow to you, but when I'm spending a nice hot summer night at PNC Park, there's nothing better than an ice cold Iron City Beer. And please, no cracks about having to be toasted to tolerate the way the Pirates play, OK?

I don't like wine, only like dark beer like Guiness and Newcastle Brown Ale. But really, I love sweet liquor, like Bailey's. Mmmmmm

I don't drink. I think I would be an alcoholic if I did. I really like to taste of whiskey though.
