How can I connect with the spirit world other that a Ouija bored(wiji)?(sp?)?

I think that I have a spirit trying to connect with me but i cannot connect back. I have seen this face in pictures, and in windows. sometimes I feel a chill and i really want to connect with them. Also my passed aunt has been sending spam mail to members of my family. If you can answer my question that would be great.

u have to be a believer in the spirit world to be able to contact them and u must not show ur fears but i think the best place to get contact would be to go to a spiritualist and find out what is going on they must be trying to tell u something

First of all, use a protective circle. It's important to work in a controlled environment. If you won't do that, don't do it at all.
I recommend using some incense that stimulates the psychic bit of your brain.
Find a comfortable position sitting on the floor or wherever.
It's helpful to have a possession or piece of the person you're trying to contact, but not necessary.

Evoke the spirit- invite them into your circle. Ask them to let you know they're there, or give you a sign, or something along those lines....

Also, I recommend that you do some independent research. If you're going to be contacting spirits, you should be prepared. Generally, they can't or wouldn't bother to hurt you, but sometimes when you dip into that, entities (spirit and otherwise) can pick up on your presence.
In your research, steer clear of anything that sounds really creepy or unwise to you- anything that recommends spilling blood (anything from pricking your finger to animal sacrifice), or evoking entities that sound a little to out there for you (you can always research them). It also might be good to be sure you know the difference between invoking and evoking.

OH! Also- I think you are wise to stay away from Ouija boards. And it might be a good idea to ask some angels, personal guardians or some other benevolent/protective spirit to aid you.

Are you certain it is spirit from the "Other side" Your own inner self may be trying to tell you something. Before trying to make contact with disincarnate spirits listen to the spirit within. There is no need for theatrics, hysteria,drugs, ouija boards or other artificial paraphenalia. Simply quiet your mind and meditate quietly. Or seek answers from the dream world. Above all seek peacefully and calmly and that is how answers will come back to you.

I don't know. I found it weird that the "only" way to contact the spirits was by using a ParkerBrothers ouija board. I suppose a seance. That's interesting that your passed aunt has sent you spam. How? Could you explain what happened? I hear people talk about that sort of thing sometimes.

The problem with trying to connect with the other world is that you may be misled by who you think you're in touch with. Go to a website that has something to do with Montel Williams, try www.MontelWilliams.com. He works with a medium by the name of Sylvia, she is on his show a lot, she might be expensive but if you don't want to use her, it might be a starting point to find a legitimate medium, be very cautious because the paranormal field is full of hucksters, but trying to connect with someone via a Ouija board is worse.

Ouija is dangerous i wouldn't go there... You could try Reikki, medatation or learning about tuning in with your Angel guides, they might help.

If this is the deceased's house, check for personal belongings. A much safer alternative than ouiji. Tell the Spirit that they are free to go, then discard what was theirs. Stay away from ouiji. that is a floodgate,not easily shut.
