I should qualify this - it is allll day sickness not just morning. I also get motion sickness from being in the car. So not fun. I want some relief! Food looks good but doesn't want to stay down or I just get dry heaves all the time. I am doing all the normal things for it - but want to know when it will go away...

I am now about 28 and a half weeks. I had ongoing morning sickness (nausea daily, throwing up min 2x a week, sometimes more) and a midwife suggested to me to try acupuncture. I had never had it before and was skeptical but willing to give anything ago. I went and saw a lady who specialises in acupuncture for womens health (particularly prenatal) 11 days ago and I have not been sick since.
I know it might not work for everyone but I strongly suggest giving it a go!

I am 35 weeks along and still have morning sickness. For most people it ends between 12-15 weeks. But then there are others that it never stops! Just hang in there, eat lots of small meals. Separate liquids and solids intake by at least half an hour. Eat crackers before even getting up in the morning. Suck on ginger candies, sometimes even peppermint candies help. Never let your stomach get too empty. And if you are losing a lot of weight, or if you are puking up blood, or puking more than 5 times a day...have a talk with your doctor, there are medications that are safe that they can give you. I require them with my pregnancies. lets just put it this way, I have yet to gain a pound from this pregnancy, and I am not a fat person...

Oh, I remember those days. I had morning sickness starting at 8 weeks and ending at 20 weeks. I threw up everything. I lost 10lbs. Everyone is different. Some women have it their whole pregnancy. I just had my son 2 weeks ago and trust me, it is all worth it!!! Try gingerale, it helped a little for me!!

The main cause of morning sickness is a combination of issues related to the chemical changes your body is going through. Mix a pinch of nutmeg powder with a table spoon of gooseberry juice, and take it thrice a day. Sip little by little ginger juice mixed with honey before you get out of bed. Well, at least food looks good to you. I couldn't even think about food without getting sick. Mine lasted until I was 14 weeks. So you should be almost done, hopefully.

For most people, it ends around three months, so you're almost there. A few people continue with it for much longer. Good luck.
