i have hpv, that's what my doctor says i have. i know hpv is a sexually transmitted infection. my husband besides being at work is pretty much home with me or a relative who lives with us, so i'm postive he's not fooling around. i can always get a hold of him at home or at work. so what else can you get cervisitis from? could it be from the hpv? my doctor didn't say anything about a std and i'm postive she would, so i'm clear as far as i know.

HPV can cause you to have cervicitis

Your husband probably gave HPV to you. You get it through sex, it cannot appear in your body unless you have sexual contact.

Now, men can have HPV and not have any knowledge or symptoms, because obviously they do not have a cervix.

He did not cheat on you, necessarily, but he could have had it for YEARS, and then you suddenly get it because it becomes active in his system.

Hpv can lay dormant in yours or your husband's bodies for years.
