No, I have a rule of thumb that I follow, I go through everything every 3-4 months, clean out cupboards and such, if I haven't used it in all that time the I don't need it and I donate it so that somebody he needs it can have it!! Exceptions are momentos that have special meaning, paperwork that needs to be kept for tax purposes and the like!!

I'd probably be a closet pack rat but I can't get in the closet for all the junk.

Definitely, if there is a small, remote chance that something may have a use anytime in the future I will keep it. Or even if it will serve no purpose but I think it looks cool.

Yes, my cousin thought she was until she started packing stuff up for me after I moved....she started in Aug and still isn't through....I may never know where anything is again, but it is ok or I'd gone back and done it myself...

Make him watch Sanford&Son till he can no longer stand it. and start up donating, backyard sales, perhaps you will get a newborn interior the nieghborhood to artwork for a number of it and help you do away with a number of it. tell him he can sell it for you and cut up the money with him. ensure your husband is in on it, in spite of each little thing you mairried him.
