I live in KS...... See it everyday at about 6AM... eastern sky... Halfway up Brightest star in sky....Just curious to see if anyone can tell me

If it doesn't twinkle, then its the planet Venus.

It's almost certainly Venus, which is currently very, very bright in the pre-dawn sky. It will gradually get dimmer as it moves in its orbit, but it will continue to dominate the pre-dawn sky until December or January.
