YES!! it bothers me soo much! on a video tape i hear the other ppl's voice the same as i always do, but when i hear mine on tape i sound so ughh!! but when i talk to others in reality its sooooo much better. im stuck in the middle!

Yes you hear yourself differently than others do, as a matter of fact, I like the way my voice sounds to me, and I hate the way other people hear it.

I can't to hear my voice like on answering machine because I can't believe it's me!! It sounds so different from what I hear when I'm talking!! Too weird!!

from what I am told yea it sounds the same.
have a friend record thier voice and then you say something on the same tape and you will know for sure.

OMG same with me. it bothers me cuz my voice sounds normal in my ears but when i record it it sounds all low and messed up.

It sound weired because the cavity in your ears resonate at the exact same frequency as your speech, when you hear yourself, it screws up the way it sounds to you.
